Nutrition Marketing Claims

Triscuit claims to be made with simple ingredients – just wheat, oil, and salt. This claim is true. The ingredients used vary depending on the flavour, but all flavours are made using minimal ingredients including wheat, oil, and spices.

Triscuits also claim to be “Non-GMO Project Varified”. While there isn’t regulation surrounding non-GMO claims, Triscuits non-GMO variation comes from a third-party verification program called the Non-GMO Project. The verification program exists for products sold in Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Products must meet standards based on ingredients and processing methods to use the “Non-GMO Project Verified” logo.

Taste & Texture

Triscuits have a crunchy texture with a noticeable salty flavour. They have a woven texture, similar to shredded wheat. They are crisp but with a softness that prevents them from being crumbly.
